If you are facing difficulties connecting your Instagram account with BuzzBite, here are the 4 possible reasons:

1. Your instagram account is not a business account

You need to have an Instagram business account in order to connect your account with BuzzBite. A Personal or Creator account will not work  as they do not allow BuzzBite to track the statistics. 

To turn your account Instagram account to a Buisness account, kindly follow the steps below:

2. Your Instagram account does not have a Facebook page connected

Your Instagram business account needs to have a Facebook page connected to it. To confirm if you have a Facebook page confirmed, follow the steps below

  1. Go to your Instagram Profile
  2. Click on “Edit Profile”
  3. Scroll down to the “Public Business Information” Section
  4. Check if the there is a page connected in the page field

3. Your facebook page needs to be re-confirmed

Sometimes when you switch your Instagram account type, the facebook page connected to your account disconnects. To check if this is the case:

  1. Go to your Instagram Profile
  2. Click on “Edit profile
  3. If you see the orange “confirm” then you need to click and complete the process

4. Your did not select the correct pages or permissions

When you are connecting with Buzzbite, you need to make sure you select a Business account AND the corresponding Facebook page. If nothing is selected, the process will fail.

You also need to make sure you select all the correct permissions.
